2.1. Contacts management

If you have a contact database, you can upload it in advance to the Tellq system so that when you receive a client call/ticket, you can see the client's contact information.

  1. TL >> Contacts >> Modify template: create additional fields in the client card that will be displayed during the call:

Name, phone number, or email are required fields; you can modify the others at your discretion.

If you only need these fields, you don't have to create additional ones.

  1. Click 'Import contacts' and upload the prepared contact list into the Tellq system:

Important! The contact list must be in *.csv format with at least two columns: Name and Phone number or Email.

  • We recommend downloading the .csv file from Google Spreadsheet, as different versions of Excel save .csv files differently.
  • The phone number must be in a standardized format: 37060011222, meaning it should not have a + sign at the front, should include the country code, and must be free of spaces, dots, and additional characters.
  1. After uploading the .csv file into the Tellq system, map the fields, meaning you should select the same field names in the Tellq system as in your .csv file:

Important!

  1. The phone number must be in a standardized format, e.g., 37060011222.
  2. Column names in the .csv file must be without spaces, e.g., Full_name instead of Full name.
  3. Uploaded files must not contain special characters or Lithuanian letters. The system supports UTF-8 encoding, but often special characters may be encoded in a different format, e.g., windows-1257.

    We recommend entering information using Latin characters so that the contacts will upload correctly.
  4. The maximum size of the .csv file is 15MB.
